We are looking for a detail-oriented AP–GL Accountant with hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and General Ledger along with exposure to SAP testing, implementation, or configuration. The role involves supporting ongoing finance operations while actively contributing to ERP transformation initiatives (SAP S/4HANA or SAP FICO).Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (AP)Process vendor invoices, validations, and approvalsHandle vendor master creation & maintenanceExecute vendor payments and resolve discrepanciesManage employee reimbursements and claimsGeneral Ledger (GL)Post journal entries, accruals, and provisionsPerform month-end and year-end closing activitiesReconcile GL accounts and resolve variancesSupport financial reporting requirementsTax & ComplianceAssist in TDS computation and filingEnsure GST compliance and documentationMaintain audit-ready documentationSAP (Testing, Implementation & Configuration) – Mandatory FocusParticipate in SAP implementation / migration (S/4HANA preferred)Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for AP & GL modulesValidate business scenarios, identify gaps, and report defectsSupport configuration validation (vendor setup, posting keys, tax codes, etc.)Collaborate with IT / consulting teams for issue resolutionAssist in data migration validation and reconciliationPrepare test cases, documentation, and SOPsRequired Skills & Qualifications2–5 years of experience in AP & GL accountingHands-on experience in SAP (FICO / S4 HANA preferred)Exposure to SAP testing / implementation / configuration is mandatoryStrong understanding of accounting principles & processesExperience in TDS, GST, and complianceGood Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables preferred)Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
