The ideal candidate will bring strong subject expertise, a commitment to conceptual understanding, and the ability to develop students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in mathematics at an advanced level.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver rigorous, concept-driven mathematics lessons aligned with IGCSE and IB DP curricula.Teach across IGCSE and DP Mathematics courses, including Applications & Interpretation and/or Analysis & Approaches.Develop students’ higher-order thinking, mathematical reasoning, and real-world application skills.Design and implement effective formative and summative assessments, including preparation for board examinations.Provide targeted academic support and extension for diverse learners, including high achievers.Analyse student performance data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.Contribute to curriculum planning, moderation, and standardisation processes.Support students with Internal Assessments (IA), coursework, and exam readiness.Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen programme delivery and interdisciplinary learning.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification (mandatory).Proven experience teaching IGCSE and IB DP Mathematics (mandatory).Minimum 4–6 years of teaching experience in international or high-performing academic environments.Strong track record of student achievement in board examinations.Experience teaching DP Mathematics IA and familiarity with IB assessment criteria is essential.International school experience outside one’s home country preferred.Essential Skills & AttributesDeep subject expertise and strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.Excellent command of written and spoken English.Strong communication and academic mentoring skills.Ability to simplify complex concepts and make mathematics accessible and engaging.Strong assessment literacy and data-informed teaching practices.Reflective, collaborative, and aligned with IB philosophy and academic rigour.Positive, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to build confidence and resilience in students.How to ApplyInterested candidates may submit their cover letter, resume/CV, and contact details of three professional references to
