The role requires consistent follow-ups, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence customer payment behaviour through structured communication.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute customer communication via calls, email, WhatsApp, SMS, and dialer systems to support collections.Perform payment follow-ups for due and overdue accounts based on defined workflows.Communicate payment obligations, outstanding balances, and commitments to customers.Ensure consistent follow-up and engagement to improve collection efficiency.Negotiate with customers to secure payment commitments and closures.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.Align with internal teams to ensure compliance with communication and collections policies.Support campaigns and initiatives to improve customer responsiveness and recovery rates.Required SkillsStrong communication and negotiation skillsExperience in collections, recovery, or outbound calling rolesFamiliarity with dialer systems / CRM toolsAbility to handle customer objections and payment discussionsBasic understanding of collections processes and delinquency cyclesPreferred BackgroundExperience in BFSI, NBFC, Fintech, or Telecom collectionsExposure to high-volume calling / telesales environments
