About:This role ensures the quality and reliable testing of raw materials required to prepare EV battery cells throughout the manufacturing process. Reporting to the IQC chemical specialist this role involves defining inspection criteria for the chemical testing of different raw materials, conducting inspections, supporting quality improvements, and collaborating with various teams. Key Responsibilities:Perform elemental wet chemical analysis for lithium‑ion battery raw materials and intermediates.Conduct ICP‑OES and ICP‑MS sample preparation, digestion, calibration, and elemental impurity analysis.Carry out GC/GC‑MS chromatography for solvent purity, VOCs, and organic impurity analysis.Perform particle size distribution measurements using laser particle size analyzers (D50/D90).Execute potentiometric titrations and other chemical tests for quality verification of raw materials.Ensure accurate handling, preparation, and analysis of samples following SOPs and safety guidelines.Operate and maintain analytical instruments and ensure data accuracy, repeatability, and traceability.Document results, prepare reports, and support IQC/IPQC testing for material qualification.Preferred Qualifications:B.Sc. /M.Sc. Chemistry (Analytical / Organic / General).Hands‑on experience in chemical analysis, either freshers(M.Sc.) or 3–4 years (B.Sc.) of industrial/lab experience.Prior exposure to battery materials analysis or analytical instrument handling is an advantage.Ability to work on ICP‑OES / ICP‑MS sample preparation and analysis.
