Led by a distinguished facultycomprising ICPC World Finalists and ex-professionals from ISRO, Microsoft, MakeMyTrip, andseveral other leading tech organizations, NST is building a scalable, high-impact model that produces industry-ready talent for the world’s most advanced technology roles.About the Role:We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Subject Matter Expert (SME) – DSA with 0–1 years of experience, who is passionate about algorithmic thinking and structured problem-solving. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to build a strong foundation in technical education while supporting students in mastering efficient algorithms and problem-solving strategies.Key Responsibilities:Academic Support & Content Development: Assist in developing learning materials, examples,problem sets, and assessments focused on algorithm design techniques, complexity analysis, andproblem-solving paradigms.Lab Assistance: Support instructors during coding and algorithm labs by helping studentsunderstand paradigms, optimize solutions, and debug effectively.Student Mentorship: Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to help students improve logical reasoning, algorithmic efficiency, and confidence in solving complex problems.Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student submissions, review algorithm designs, and providestructured feedback on correctness, optimization, and time/space complexity.Collaboration: Work closely with faculty and curriculum teams to refine course content andcontinuously improve learning outcomes.Learning & Growth: Continuously upgrade your knowledge in data structures, algorithms,optimization techniques, and competitive programming standards.Qualifications and Requirements:● Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.● Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms.● Solid understanding of problem-solving paradigms such as brute force, greedy, divide &conquer, dynamic programming, backtracking, and graph algorithms.● Familiarity with time and space complexity analysis (Big-O notation).● Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C++, Java, or Python.● Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.Why join NST?● Be part of a mission-driven team bridging the gap between education and employability.● Learn from ICPC world finalists, IIT/IISc mentors, and experienced industry professionals.● Gain early exposure to curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and student mentorship.● Build a strong foundation for a long-term career in education, research, or software engineering.Good to Have:● Internship experience or academic projects involving algorithms, optimization, or problem-solving.● Participation in coding contests (CodeChef, Codeforces, LeetCode, etc.).● Experience creating technical content, tutorials, or peer learning sessions.● Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.Key Competencies:● Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.● Passion for learning, teaching, and continuous improvement.● Ability to bridge theoretical concepts with practical implementation.
