This Application Configuration & Support/Technical Engineer role is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting journey of transition and migration from existing (Mainframe) transaction switch to new (Cloud) BASE24 EPS. An opportunity to demonstrate the technical knowledge, sharpen skills, utilise experience, and perform to deliver.We are looking for experienced technical engineers with a proven track record working with Reporting tools and databases, and whose expertise goes beyond standard tool offerings.This is a critical transition journey of a transaction/terminal switch that demands technical skills, domain understanding and commitment to deliver quality output on schedule.This role is for someone who enjoys collaborating with a cross functional team to develop high standard solutions for seamless transition and migration of systems.To efficiently build and refine multi faceted reporting and data extract solutions for;Regulatory bodies (RBA, APRA, Schemes, etc.)Financial servicesTo engage, analyse requirements and develop solutions for various stakeholders, including;Operational supportBusiness and Product teamsTo take responsibility for quality outcomes and provide ongoing support for customer and colleagues5+ years of experience with Reporting tools and platforms supporting critical (Financial) systemsMust have proven hands on experience on DataBricks, Snowflake, PowerBI and strong SQLExperience with;Australian and Scheme compliance requirementsCard schemes and scheme formatsShould have experience working with applications on cloud systems (Azure, AWS)Should have experience with Linux, Tomcat, GitHub, Control M, CyberArk Password Control, Certificate managementPreferable knowledge of;DataNavigator Reporting;Base24, UPFConnexMainframe technologiesAn understanding of security and compliance vulnerability remediation, ie maintain currency of Spring Framework, jqueryStrong analytical, problem solving, debugging and creative/elegant solution capabilitiesAttention to detail, quality, accuracy and efficiencyStrong time management skills, written and verbal communicationAn open mindset and proven ability to innovate, influence and deliver successful outcomesEducation:Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical subject or equivalent experiencePost graduation/ Graduation in Engineering/scienceRelevant self learning courses and certifications highly regardedStrong ethical standingBe Bold, professionalRespect for PeopleDo the Right ThingPassion for Customers & Colleagues
