Revenue Assurance & Contract GovernanceReview and interpret client contracts to determine revenue recognition treatmentEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS 115 / IFRS 15 / ASC 606)Identify revenue leakages and implement controls to prevent themPartner with Sales, Legal, and Delivery teams to structure commercially and financially sound contracts2. Revenue Recognition & AccrualsOversee accurate and timely revenue recognition across all business linesFinalize monthly revenue accruals, deferrals, and adjustmentsEnsure proper cut-off, matching, and completeness of revenueDrive automation and standardization in revenue accounting processes3. Billing & InvoicingSupervise billing cycles to ensure accuracy and timelinessAlign billing milestones with contractual terms and delivery outputsResolve discrepancies between contracts, delivery, and invoicing4. Collections & Working Capital ManagementLead collections strategy and execution to optimize cash flowMonitor aging, drive reduction in DSO, and improve cash conversion cycleEngage with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve payment disputes5. R2R Process OwnershipOwn the end-to-end Record-to-Report cycle related to revenueEnsure accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit readinessStrengthen internal controls and ensure SOX / audit compliance (if applicable)6. Analytics & ReportingDevelop dashboards for revenue tracking, leakage analysis, and forecastingProvide insights on revenue trends, risks, and opportunities to leadershipSupport FP&A with revenue forecasts and variance analysis7.
