It replaces chaos with structure using three powerful pillars that work together seamlessly. Role -We are seeking a manual tester to join our team as a final checkpoint for quality before our features reach community leaders and event planners. You will ensure that the integration between our React frontend and Django backend is seamless and bug-free. As a remote manual testing intern, you will ensure our tech remains reliable as we scale our user base across Pune and beyond. Key Responsibilities -- Comprehensive Testing: Perform manual testing across both Web and Mobile (App) platforms to ensure a consistent user experience. - Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test cases based on product requirements, following the STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle). - Defect Management: Identify, log, and track bugs using Jira, ensuring every report includes clear steps to reproduce and relevant screenshots. - Lifecycle Integration: Work within the SDLC framework to verify bug fixes and participate in regression testing for new releases. - Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the development team to clarify requirements and provide feedback on UX friction points. - User Advocacy: Test the platform from the perspective of different users—from small hobby groups to large coaching institutes. Required Skills & Experience -- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC. - Tools: Familiarity with Jira (must understand its role in bug tracking and sprint management). - Detail Oriented: A /"detective/" mindset with the ability to find edge cases and hidden glitches. - Communication: Excellent written communication skills, essential for a remote team environment. - Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS, IT, or a related field.
