As the first point of contact for external requests, this role ensures alignment across teams by streamlining intake and prioritization processes, enabling seamless collaboration and efficient execution. The Sr. Data Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-class relational and dimensional data models while providing technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring engineers, and evolving best practices. In close partnership with leadership, solution architects, and development teams, this role will guide the Business Intelligence strategy to enhance data architecture, improve pipeline efficiency, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs. With a strong focus on managing complex requirements and multiple workstreams, the Sr. Data Architect will balance hands-on development with driving cross-team alignment to deliver impactful results.What You’ll Do:Drive business engagement and collaborate with stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps that maximize the adoption and impact of enterprise data products.Serve as the first point of contact for external requests, ensuring efficient intake, prioritization, and alignment across teams.Architect, design, and implement enterprise-class relational and dimensional data models to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.Design and create gold-layer tables to enable executive-level and end-to-end omnichannel reporting and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platforms.Provide technical leadership by conducting code reviews, establishing best practices, and mentoring engineers to enhance their data engineering capabilities.Partner with leadership, solution architects, and development teams to align data architecture initiatives with business goals and ensure seamless integration of solutions.Enhance pipeline efficiency and scalability by optimizing data workflows and improving system performance.Develop frameworks, utilities, and reusable components to increase the productivity and efficiency of the engineering team.Manage multiple workstreams and navigate complex requirements while maintaining clear communication and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Continuously evaluate and refine data architecture standards, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and emerging technologies.Lead efforts to improve data governance, security, and compliance across enterprise data platforms.Act as a subject matter expert to guide teams through architectural decisions, balancing technical excellence with business priorities.What You’ll Bring:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business (Required).Experience in lieu of education accepted (Required).7 years Experience with enterprise level database systems and environments such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SQL Server or other7 years Progressive experience in software engineering / enterprise architecture / technology leadership across multiple products, systems and / or platforms coupled with strong business acumen and executive presence. (Required).7 years Experience working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions. (Required).Must Have Skills:Data Modeling and Design: Proficient in designing and implementing data models, including relational, NoSQL, and data lake architecture.Expertise in relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases.Data Warehousing and ETL: Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data pipelines.Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and their data services.Information Architecture.Data Analysis.Problem Solving.Microsoft Office.Databricks.Python.
