Job Description: Hardware Design EngineerExperience: 3- 5 YearsLocation: AhmedabadEmployment Type: Full-time | Industry: Design Services Job Summary:The Electronics Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware products. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality electronic products that meet customer requirements.Skills:Experience in Embedded Hardware designs consists of MCU (8/32-bit) ARM-Cortex Series STM32, ESP32, Nordic and other manufacturers.Experience in Serial Protocol Interfaces SPI, I2C, RS-485, UART, USB etc.Knowledge in High-speed design and routing.Experience in schematic design, BOM Management, PCB layout & signal integrity.Must be able to select cost and feature optimised components based on project requirements and design hardware architecture.Experience in Analog, digital (/mixed) circuits designs, SMPS design, communication circuits, Discrete circuits.Experience in design and development of Design documents and calculations.Good exposure on using CAD tools Preferably KiCad.Working knowledge of Oscilloscope, Multimeter, logic analyzer, Function generator, Electronic load etc.Experience in IOT applications.Good troubleshooting Knowledge of Safety and compliance certification tests like UL, CE, MID, FCC, etc.Knowledge to work with the Power electronics, motors and drive systems and technologiesShould be able to handle work with minimal support. Key Responsibilities:Design and development of electronic hardware products, including schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection.Schematic component selectionMust do the PCB Bring up & Hardware debuggingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic hardware with firmware and mechanical components.Develop and maintain design standards, procedures, and specifications for electronic hardware products.Conduct research and analysis to identify new technologies and trends in electronics hardware design and recommend improvements to existing products.Develop and manage project timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of projects.Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.Give project updates on client calls actively. Qualification:Bachelor/master’s degree in ECE/EEEExperience in wireless communication technologies such as GSM, Wi-Fi (Dual Band), Zigbee and Bluetooth.Good troubleshooting Knowledge of Safety and compliance certification tests like UL, CE, MID, FCC, etc.Knowledge to work with the Power system domain and technologies
