The working hour for this position will be from 12 PM - 9 PM IST, Monday-Friday.How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities)Bank Reconciliation• To ensure timely and accurate upload of bank accounts both automated and manual bank accounts and resolving any discrepancy in bank export file as well as follow-up with banks if statement missing.• Open item resolution by comparing bank statement data to the general ledger, Identifying and correcting unprocessed transactions.• Taking care of certain key deliverables like weekly reports, daily analyzer check & resolve discrepancy if any, follow up on aged items and outstanding checks.• SOP updation and improve reconciliation processes.• Assist in internal and external audits related to bank reconciliations & respond to inquiries and support other departments regarding bank transactions.What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities)Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.2–3 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking operations, or related financial roles.Experience supporting treasury or financial operations in a global or multi-currency environment preferred.Strong analytical and financial problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage financial data accurately.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.Competencies DesiredAttention to DetailEnsures accuracy and completeness in treasury transactions, financial reporting, and documentation while maintaining strong internal controls.CollaborationWorks effectively with global finance teams, banking partners, and internal stakeholders to support treasury operations and resolve issues.Process DisciplineAdheres to established treasury policies, controls, and procedures while supporting improvements to operational efficiency.Continuous ImprovementActively identifies opportunities to enhance treasury processes, reporting tools, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.Working Conditions / Physical Requirements / Travel RequirementsPrimarily office-based corporate environment with hybrid work arrangement.Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.Occasional extended hours during month-end, quarter-end, or financial reporting cycles.Role may require coordination with global teams across multiple time zones.Other Responsibilities: Environment, Health & Safety (In accordance with Valvoline policies e.g. RC14001®)Ensures EHS are key items at meetingsFollows all OHS policies and proceduresFollows all environmental policies and proceduresReports all accidents, incidents and near misses to their supervisorPromotes Valvoline principles.
