Director – Project Logistics (India)Location: Mumbai / Delhi / Bangalore (Pan-India mandate)Function: Project Logistics – ODC, Heavy Lift, EPC, Industrial ProjectsReporting To: CEO / Group Managing DirectorAbout the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned leader to head our Project Logistics vertical in India, driving strategy, growth, and execution across complex cargo movements.This role carries full ownership of the Projects business, including P&L, commercial strategy, technical solutioning, and end-to-end execution of large-scale logistics operations across multimodal platforms (road, sea, air, RO-RO, and break-bulk).The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in ODC, heavy lift, EPC, and industrial project logistics, along with a proven track record of scaling high-impact logistics operations.Key Responsibilities1. Strategy & P&L LeadershipLead the pan-India Project Logistics business with full P&L ownershipDefine and execute the strategic roadmap for growth and capability expansionIdentify new markets, partnerships, and service offerings2. Business Development & Commercial ExcellenceDrive acquisition of project cargo across EPC, infrastructure, renewables, heavy engineering, and industrial sectorsLead RFQs, tendering, technical proposals, pricing, and negotiationsBuild strong relationships with carriers, EPC contractors, vendors, and partners3. Technical Solution DesignAssess feasibility of ODC & heavy lift movementsOversee preparation of method statements, lifting plans, route surveys, and risk assessmentsEnsure solutions are safe, compliant, and cost-effective4. Operational Execution OversightManage end-to-end execution across multimodal logistics (road, sea, air, barge, charters)Coordinate with ports, CFS, transporters, crane operators, and surveyorsEnsure timely delivery, cost control, SLA adherence, and documentation excellence5. Leadership & Team BuildingBuild and lead a high-performance Projects team across IndiaMentor project managers and strengthen technical and operational capabilitiesEstablish SOPs, governance frameworks, and safety culture6.
