Job Description

Role & ResponsibilityPropose & execute strategies to expand our portfolio for generics/specialities via In-Licensing in Emerging Markets- markets (ANZ, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Malyasia, Thailand….)Lead end to end discussion toidentify and categories partners for in licensinganalyze market opportunities assessing their value through comprehensive business casesnegotiate in licensing, distribution, technology transfer or collaboration agreementsschedule regular TC/VC and face to face meetings with licensors worldwide sgenerate market intelligence gathering products, sources, development status and market formationBusiness case finalization keep updated track record of licensing projects and payment milestonesdefine the quickest path towards launch bearing in mind the intellectual property scenario and regulatory procedures feasiblecoordinate all activities required after the signature of the contract till launch of the productParticipate in quarterly meetings with the Portfolio department to revise priorities for molecules to in license/acquire or develop, updating the wish listPrepare every month an update of the licensing activity for HOD.Present the projects to license along with the corresponding business cases to our Senior Management every month, in order to seek for approval.Relevant Functional/Technical Skills or Industry ExperienceRegulated markets BD experience, Emerging Markets ( Australia , Africa , SEA , etc..) experience preferredEffective communication and reportingExperience of leading and coordinating a department’s teamExperience of working across multiple time zone and in global business culturesExperience in negotiation & deal closureGood understanding of the way the key pharma industry’s drivers are influencing the launch of products: intellectual property, regulatory, price evolution, retail and hospital channelKnow the relevant players to deal with in the marketGood understanding on regulated and advance market regulatory guidelines and market intel
