Therole involves setting up and running analytical methods for in-process and finished-producttesting, ensuring all formulations meet FAO/WHO, CIB&RC, and customer specifications, andmaintaining lab systems to audit-ready standards. You will work closely with the formulationsR&D and process chemistry teams to support new product development, stability programs, andtechnology transfer with robust, reliable quality data. This is a foundational role — you'll havethe opportunity to shape QC processes, SOPs, and lab infrastructure from the ground up.Key Requirements● M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related discipline. M.Tech / Ph.D. is a plus.● Work experience — 5–10 years in QC / analytical development within agrochemicals,crop protection, or specialty chemicals.● Strong hands-on proficiency with HPLC, GC, GC-MS, UV-Vis, KF titration, and wetchemistry methods relevant to agrochemical formulations.Skills and Responsibilities● Develop, validate, and execute analytical methods for active ingredient assay, impurityprofiling, and physical-chemical testing of agrochemical formulations (SC, EC, WP, WG,SL, EW, ME, etc.).● Perform routine and non-routine QC testing — including AI content, emulsion stability,suspensibility, particle size distribution, pH, viscosity, wettability, persistent foam, andpourability — per CIPAC, FAO/WHO, and BIS methods.● Manage and analyse stability study samples (accelerated and real-time) and flagdeviations or trends to the formulations R&D team.● Set up and maintain QC laboratory operations — instrument calibration, preventivemaintenance schedules, reagent and reference standard inventory, and lab safetyprotocols.● Draft and enforce SOPs, test protocols, specifications, and certificates of analysis(CoAs) aligned with CIB&RC registration requirements and export market standards.● Investigate OOS/OOT results, conduct root cause analysis, and drive CAPA to closure.● Support NABL accreditation readiness and regulatory audits by maintaining complete,traceable documentation and records.● Coordinate with formulations R&D, process chemistry, manufacturing, and regulatoryteams to ensure quality data flows seamlessly through development, scale-up, andregistration stages.Why Join Us?● Be part of a fast-growing Agrochemicals business with a strong focus on innovation andtechnology-driven development.● Opportunity to lead a talented R&D team and work on high-impact projects from conceptto scale-up.● Collaborate with cross-functional experts to drive process excellence and innovation.● A role offering significant ownership, learning, and leadership growth in a dynamic,research-oriented environment.
