ResponsibilitiesPlan, design, and execute experiments in the R&D pilot plant.Perform metallurgical reaction balancing and process-related calculations.Analyze, interpret, and manage experimental and plant trial data.Demonstrate and explain plant trial procedures to production team.Support plant trials, scale-up activities, and technology transfer to production.Collect, analyze, and interpret operating data from plant trials.Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Marketing, Procurement, and Maintenance teams.Assist in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and records.Conduct SOP and safety training for operating personnel in the R&D pilot plant.QualificationsB. Tech / B.E. /M Tech/M.E. in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering.Preferred SkillsStrong aptitude and interest in R&D-based process development.Strong fundamentals in Process Metallurgy and Physical Metallurgy.Sound understanding of metallurgical thermodynamics and kinetics.Proficiency in slag–metal reactions and process chemistry.Practical knowledge of phase diagrams and Ellingham diagrams.Experience in data interpretation and root cause analysis.Working knowledge of XRD and XRF analytical techniques.Proficiency in data handling, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience and Relevant Industry1–3 years of relevant experience in R&D – Process Metallurgy.
