Job Title: Design / Project Manager Location: MumbaiExperience: Min 10+ Years (Mid to Senior Level)Industry: Architecture / Interior Design / Project ManagementReports to: PMCM Lead / Project DirectorRole OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic Project / Design Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of workplace design and build projects. This role requires a strong balance of design sensibility, project execution, and client management, ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with M Moser’s global standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & DeliveryLead end-to-end delivery of workplace projects from concept through completionManage project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarksCoordinate across internal teams (design, MEP, project management) and external consultantsEnsure adherence to project governance, processes, and documentationDesign ManagementOversee design development from concept to construction documentationEnsure design intent is maintained through executionReview layouts, technical drawings, and specificationsCollaborate closely with design teams to drive innovative and functional workplace solutionsClient & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycleBuild strong client relationships and ensure high satisfactionLead client presentations, design reviews, and progress updatesManage stakeholder expectations across multiple project phasesVendor & Consultant CoordinationManage contractors, vendors, and consultants (architects, MEP, PMCs)Drive procurement processes including BOQs, tendering, and negotiationsEnsure quality and compliance during executionCommercial & Risk ManagementMonitor project budgets, cost control, and profitabilityIdentify risks and implement mitigation strategiesSupport business growth through client engagement and repeat opportunitiesKey RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil EngineeringMinimum 10+ years of experience in workplace design, D&B, or project managementExperience across design firms, PMC/IPC, or client-side roles preferredStrong understanding of corporate interiors and workplace strategyProven experience managing large-scale, multi-location projectsProficiency in tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, and project planning systemsCore CompetenciesClient-facing and stakeholder management skillsStrong project execution and delivery mindsetCommercial awareness and cost managementLeadership and team collaborationProblem-solving and decision-making under pressureAttention to detail with a strong design sensibilityEducation RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil Engineering / Construction Management (mandatory)Postgraduate qualification in Project Management / Construction Management / Real Estate / NICMAR / equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management credentials are an added advantageWhy Join Us:Opportunity to lead high-impact workplace transformation projectsCollaborative environment with cross-functional teamsCareer progression and learning in an international design-build setting
