Job Title: Finance Controller / Head of FinanceRole Overview We are looking to hire a Finance Controller to set up and manage the in-house finance function. This role will be responsible for bringing structure to financial operations, ensuring compliance, and building robust reporting and planning frameworks as the organization scales.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end bookkeeping and financial accounting processesEnsure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirementsPrepare and manage monthly MIS reports for leadership and stakeholdersDrive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisBuild and maintain financial models and projections (equity and debt)Work closely with leadership on cash flow management and cost optimizationCoordinate with external partners for audits, due diligence, and fundraising supportSet up and streamline finance processes, controls, and systemsLay the foundation for building an in-house finance team over timeCandidate ProfileChartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of experience, preferably in early-stage startupsStrong hands-on experience in accounting, compliance, and MIS reportingExposure to FP&A and financial modelingAbility to work in a 0→1 setup, building processes from scratchPrior experience working with investors or fundraising environments is a plusComfortable operating in a high-growth, ambiguous environment
