We are currently located in Hyderabad, India.Key Responsibilities:• Plan and deliver daily lessons and activities aligned to Raising Cubs curriculum and learning outcomes, using play-based and inquiry approaches.• Create an inclusive, stimulating and safe classroom environment that supports social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.• Conduct ongoing observation, assessment and documentation of each child’s learning; maintain portfolios and prepare progress reports.• Manage classroom routines, transitions and behaviour positively using guidance strategies consistent with centre policy (no corporal punishment).• Build strong relationships with parents/guardians through regular communication, meetings and written updates.• Collaborate with centre staff and Head of Centre on planning, events, enrolment, and centre improvement.• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene protocols; participate in drills and maintain accurate incident records.• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and trainings; share learning with peers.• Support and supervise assistants, volunteers and interns as required.• Maintain classroom resources, request supplies, and ensure tidy learning spaces.Qualifications & Experience:• Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Education (required)• 1–5 years preschool experience preferred• Basic digital skills (MS Office / documentation)• Knowledge of play-based / EYFS / NEP approach is a plusSkills & Attributes:• Genuine warmth, patience and strong rapport-building skills with young children and families.• Strong classroom management and routine-setting skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication.• Observational and record-keeping skills; ability to create developmentally appropriate assessments and learning plans.• Team player with initiative, reliability and professional integrity.• Creative, flexible and resourceful with classroom activities and materials.• Commitment to child safeguarding and ethical practice.• Experience using digital tools for documentation (photos from phone, basic MS Office/Google Workspace).Job Purpose:This role emphasizes attentive observation, documentation, and intentional listening to honour each child’s voice and unique ways of expressing themselves. The Preschool Teacher designs emergent curriculum experiences based on children’s interests, encouraging exploration, problem-solving, and deep engagement through multiple forms of expression.Role Summary:The Preschool Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating high- quality, play-based learning experiences for children from 10 months to 6 years of age.
