Accounting Manuals, Capital Projects Audits, Project focused Control Assessment, setting up IA function, etc.Role & ResponsibilitiesAssistant Managers are project leaders/project team members who will be involved in conducting process consulting/ internal audit/ risk consulting and execution of other solutions of GRCSAssistant Managers may pay the role of team leader on engagements with 1-3 team members reporting to them for the project. AMs have responsibility of reviewing the work done (Deliverables) by the team membersInteract with the client representatives for the ongoing requirements of the projectProactively does sales oriented reporting during projects. These would include identifying possible business opportunities for various practices within KPMGConsistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the project area assigned to him/herMonitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomesDemonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledgePossess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledgeThe job would require travel to client locations within India and abroadTHE INDIVIDUALHave experience in process consulting/ internal audit/ risk consulting Possess strong domain knowledge, understanding of business processes and possible risks in operations of at least one industry sectorAbility to perform and interpret process gap analysisAbility to identify risks in business processesUnderstanding of control rationalization, optimization, effectiveness and efficiencyStrong analytical and problem solving skills. Possess strong data analytics skills and knowledge of advanced data analytical tools will be an advantageStrong written and verbal communication skills (presentation skills)Consistent display of leadership skillsAbility to work well in teamsUnderstanding of IT systems, Knowledge of MS office ( MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc)Have the ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hoursWillingness to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of timeDemonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic and lead by exampleQualificationQualified CAs with articleship from Big-4 firms, MBAs from top 10 Business Schools with 3-5 years of experience in risk consulting/ operations or compliance function role in the industry (Understanding of internal audit, business processes, sector understanding).
