Our esteemed Manufacturing Client is looking for a Senior Development Engineer Location: BangaloreExperience: 6-10 YearsPlease find below the JD:to be in charge of designing and developing 3D drawings (Catia V5), as well as mechanical design of parts and structures. • Responsible for the preparation and verification of the bill of materials (BOM) and subassembly drawings.• Design and validate the Instruction Manual contents.• Responsible for preparing & estimating the cost and engineering hour for developmental projects.• Responsible for the moulding of components and mechanisms for kinematics, dynamics, and force analysis.• Investigate new product designs and existing product modifications to meet the needs of the customer.• Responsible for material selection, and calculations.• In charge of developing the Assembly, components, and BOM to meet standards, regulations, and norms.• Visit customer sites for product installation analysis, testing, and troubleshooting as and when required.• Responsible for the execution of product development and maintenance activities.Qualifications.Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute with good academic record. Any other additional qualification is an added advantage.Experience:Min 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in CATIA V5, AutoCAD / Draft site & PDM, familiar with using Microsoft office tools. Experience in machine installation, tooling is desirable. knowledge of GD&T and engineering formulas is essential. Experience in FEA activity & Exposure to ISO & CE safety norms is an added advantage.
