Job Description: Product Designer / Industrial Designer (Cosmetics & Retail) — MARS CosmeticsLocation: Delhi NCR (or as applicable)Type: Full-timeRole overviewWe’re looking for a Product Designer / Industrial Designer to lead end-to-end design for new cosmetic products and packaging and for retail design (counters, kiosks, gondola bays, pop-ups, VM assets). You’ll translate briefs into manufacturable, cost-effective, brand-consistent designs and work closely with R&D, packaging engineering, sourcing, and retail teams to launch fast.Key responsibilitiesOwn industrial design for new products: component architecture, form factor, ergonomics, user experience, closure systems, applicators, materials/finishes.Design primary packaging concepts aligned to brand, price point, and manufacturing constraints.Create retail fixtures: counter/kiosk layouts, display modules, tester systems, signage integration, lighting, durability, safety, and serviceability.Produce 2D/3D deliverables: sketches, CMF boards, 3D CAD, renders, exploded views, and production-ready drawings/specs.Drive DFM/DFA with vendors: tolerances, parting lines, surface textures, decoration methods (hot foil, silkscreen, metallization, UV, etc.).Lead prototype cycles: 3D prints, mockups, pilot samples; validate look/feel, usability, and shelf impact.Partner with sourcing to optimize cost, MOQ, lead times, and standardize components where possible.Ensure designs meet regulatory/labeling needs and retail requirements (durability, theft resistance, refill/tester hygiene).Maintain a design system: brand cues, modular retail standards, component libraries, and approved CMF palettes.What you’ll work withR&D/formulation, packaging engineering, sourcing/vendor development, marketing/brand, retail/VM, and manufacturing partners (India/China).Qualifications3–8 years in industrial/product design (beauty/personal care/consumer products preferred).Strong grasp of manufacturing processes (injection molding, assembly, decoration, materials).Experience designing retail fixtures/POP and working with fabricators is a big plus.Portfolio showing shipped products + packaging + retail/fixture work.ToolsCAD: SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Rhino (any strong equivalent)Renders: KeyShot / Blender / V-Ray2D: Adobe suite / Figma (as applicable)What success looks like (first 6–12 months)Faster concept-to-sample cycles with fewer iterations.Cohesive, premium-looking product/packaging design language across lines.Modular retail fixture standards that scale across stores while controlling cost.ApplyShare your portfolio (must) + resume and a short note on 2–3 projects you shipped end-to-end.
