Looking for:Bachelor’s in engineering with minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in Electrical/ Electromechanical component engineering alternate parts component qualificationKnowledge of BOM Management tools like Silicon Expert and IHSHas very good communication skills (written & verbal)Excellent organizational, data collection and presentation skillsKnowledge of Electrical schematic and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) development Primary Responsibilities:Identify and perform Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical alternate/replacement parts qualificationWork on Component library managementPerform Alternate component search and provide a detailed Component comparison report and should be a self-decision maker on component attributes.Suggestion of Form Fit Functional alternates for Risk / Sole source or single source components.Work closely with cross functional team on electrical Component for executing Problem reports (PR), Change order (CO) etc. .Mandatory Skills:Understanding of end-to-end parameters of Electrical/ Electromechanical components such as Passive, Discrete, Integrated circuits, Connectors, Cables, Fuses, Relays, Switches, RF generators, Sensors, Adapters/Filters, Cable Assemblies and all other PCBA Components etc.Review and interpret all component data sheets and evaluate all components for various product applications.Experience with PLM, Library management Familiar with industry standards such as UL, CE, CSA, IPC, SEMI etc.Cross functional team experience would be preferredExperience in product manufacturing with be added advantage
