Interior Engineer-CockpitExperience: 6-12 yrsJob Location: PuneArea of ResponsibilityThis position is responsible for establishing, planning and running the engineering sub system meetings to ensure appropriate cross functional representation and input from all relevant areas. You will have responsibility for:- Key technical interface with customers’ design engineers and design studio. Coordinates and conducts regular design reviews within cross functional teams.- Be responsible for the design and development of-IP Systems: IP Topper, Glove Box, DriverSider lower, Air Vents, Ducts, Defrost grille, PAB/DAB Packaging, Shroud-Upper & Lower, etc-Console System: Console Side panel, Console Structure, Top panel, Console finisher, Cup holder, Arm rest, etc- Pillar Trims: A Pillar, B Pillar Upper & Lower, CPillar Upper & Lower, Scuff plate,etc.- Headliner: Fixed roof, Panoroof, Opening pano Roof, etc.- Carpet & Load Space Trim: Front/Rear Carpet, Dash NVH, Bulkhead Insulation, Load Space Side, Parcel Shelf, Load Floor, Storage Block, etc.- Be responsible for the design and development of Door Trims & their sub-assembly parts.- Ensures compliance of Cabin Trims with regulatory requirements (AIS, FMVSS, UN, and ECE etc.), customer specifications and best practices and work instructions.- Knowledge of GD&T; and its implications, creation of DVP&R, DFMEAs, Supplier Statement-Of-Requirements, customer, and component drawings etc.- Supplier Management- Support Build Activity and warranty Claim management.- Ensure sub-system meets Costand weight Targets.- Support Purchasing team in Sourcing and RFQ activities.- Support vehicles launch and pre-production builds (both virtual and physical)- Establishing the teamwork plan- Publishing minutes from each meeting- Ensuring that the engineering sub-system delivers its objectives and targets (technical and business)- Ensuring that programme timing objectives are met.- Communicating team progress to management- Ensuring the effective application of APQP to manage system/ component
