Responsibility of Manager – Supply Chain Management:(Preferred Industry - Electric Vehicle/Automotive)Strategic Planning:Develop and implement supply chain and purchasing strategies aligned with the organization's overall objectives.Analyse market trends, demand patterns, and supplier capabilities to optimize procurement strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define procurement requirements and establish long-term supplier relationships.Contract Management:Manage and ensure General purchase agreements, Tool agreement and Supply agreement are in place.Manage contracts with suppliers, including negotiation with approval of Top management, its renewal, and performance evaluation.Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, legal requirements, and ethical standards.Resolve contract disputes and issues in a timely and professional manner.Supplier Management:Manage relationships with key suppliers, execute contract as per agreed contract, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.Monitor supplier performance, conduct periodic reviews, and implement improvement initiatives.Identify alternative suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to ensure a robust supply base.Procurement Operations:Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines to streamline operations.Lead the procurement process for purchase order management, scheduling and material inward.Monitor procurement activities, ensure adherence to budgets, and manage cost-saving initiatives.Demand Forecasting:Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.Work closely with suppliers to communicate anticipated demand, ensuring alignment with production schedules and inventory levels.Inventory Management:Optimize inventory levels to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.Implement inventory management strategies, such as safety stock levels and just-in-time (JIT) inventory systems.Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain data accuracy.
