Company DescriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a seasoned VFX Compositing Supervisorto lead our compositing team and maintain the highest quality standards across all projects. This role demands a strong artistic eye, exceptional technical skills, and proven leadership experience. The ideal candidate will guide both the creative and technical execution of visual effects shots and ensure efficient team performance throughout the post-production pipeline.Key Responsibilities:Comp Supervision:Supervise the compositing team on a daily basis—set priorities, assign tasks, and manage shot delivery timelinesMentor and guide junior/mid-level compositors with constructive feedback and creative directionCollaborate closely with the VFX Supervisor and production team to interpret the visual goals of each projectCreative & Technical Excellence:Review, critique, and approve compositing work to ensure seamless integration of all elements (2D/3D, live action, matte painting, etc.)Solve complex shot challenges related to color grading, lighting continuity, chroma keying, rotoscoping, grain matching, etc.Maintain compositing consistency and fidelity across sequences and projectsProject Management & Pipeline Integration:Interface with production to forecast team requirements, track milestones, and ensure on-time, on-budget deliveryProvide technical direction for compositing workflows, color pipeline, render passes, and troubleshootingEnsure that compositing tools and techniques follow industry best practicesKey Skills & Requirements:Minimum 7 years of compositing experience, with at least 2-3 + years in a supervisory/lead roleExpert-level Nuke proficiency (mandatory; showreel must demonstrate high-end feature/episodic work)Deep understanding of VFX production pipelines, rendering passes, stereo/anamorphic workflows, and plate integrationStrong artistic eye for photorealism, lighting, depth, and color compositionExcellent communication skills and the ability to translate creative direction into actionable stepsExperience in both 2D and 3D compositing techniques, including multi-pass CG integrationStrong troubleshooting skills and an analytical mindsetSoftware Proficiency:Nuke (Expert Level)After Effects (Basic Knowledge Preferred)Shotgun / Ftrack (for tracking and team coordination)Preferred Qualifications:Background in photography or cinematography is a plusExperience working on international feature films, streaming content, or high-end commercialsFamiliarity with Silhouette, Photoshop, or other VFX tools is a bonusWork Environment:On-site availability is mandatoryMust be willing to work in rotational shifts based on production needsMust be team-driven, adaptable, and calm under pressure To Apply:Send your updated CV and portfolio/showreel to with the subject line:Application – VFX Compositing SupervisorRole DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai for a Compositing Artist - Team Lead – Supervisor. The role involves supervising a team of compositing artists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual effects, and maintaining the artistic direction of projects. Responsibilities include project planning, reviewing and providing feedback on compositions, troubleshooting technical challenges, collaborating with other VFX departments, and mentoring junior artists. The candidate will also ensure deadlines and client expectations are consistently met while maintaining studio quality standards.QualificationsExpertise in compositing software such as Nuke or similar tools, with a strong portfolio demonstrating professional experience in visual effects.Proven leadership skills, including team management, project scheduling, and mentorship.Strong understanding of VFX workflows, color grading, and photo-realistic compositing.Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize compositing pipelines.Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.Familiarity with 3D techniques, including rendering and match-move integration, is an advantage.Experience working on feature films, TV shows, or commercials is preferred.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in visual effects, digital media, or a related field is a plus.
