Job Title: Finance Manager – Supply Chain & ProcurementLocation: Bangalore, UB cityReporting To: Head of Finance / Finance DirectorRole OverviewThe Finance Manager – Supply Chain & Procurement will act as a strategic business partner to the Supply Chain and Procurement teams. This role is responsible for driving financial planning, cost optimization, budgeting, and performance analysis across sourcing, logistics, inventory, and vendor management. The position ensures financial discipline, transparency, and value creation across the end-to-end supply chain.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for supply chain and procurement functionsAnalyze cost drivers including raw materials, logistics, warehousing, and inventory holdingProvide actionable insights to improve cost efficiency and working capital 2. Cost Management & OptimizationIdentify opportunities for cost savings across procurement, logistics, and supply chain operationsMonitor and control procurement spend, ensuring alignment with budgets and targetsPartner with procurement to evaluate supplier pricing, contracts, and total cost of ownership (TCO)Drive and track cost-saving initiatives, ensuring measurable financial impactConduct regular spend analysis to uncover inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions3. Business PartneringCollaborate closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams to support decision-makingProvide financial guidance on sourcing strategies, vendor selection, and make-vs-buy decisionsSupport negotiations with suppliers through financial analysis and benchmarking4. Inventory & Working Capital ManagementOversee inventory valuation, provisioning, and obsolescence analysisDrive initiatives to optimize inventory levels and improve cash flowMonitor KPIs such as inventory turnover, days inventory outstanding (DIO), and working capital5. Reporting & ControlsPrepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis related to supply chain costs, including dashboards, to support data-driven actional insightsEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policiesSupport audits and ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting6. Process Improvement & SystemsDrive process improvements in procurement and supply chain finance operationsSupport implementation and optimization of ERP and financial systemsAutomate reporting and enhance data accuracy and visibilityRequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CA/CMA preferred)7–10 years of experience in finance, with exposure to supply chain or procurement financeExperience in manufacturing, retail, FMCG, or logistics environments is highly preferredTechnical SkillsStrong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skillsProficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced ExcelProficiency in one of Zoho, Tableau, Power BI or similar reporting toolsKnowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and procurement processesBusiness & Analytical SkillsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex dataDeep understanding of supply chain cost structures and driversAbility to influence stakeholders and support strategic decisionsSoft SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Cost savings and procurement efficiencyBudget adherence and forecast accuracyInventory optimization and working capital improvementTimeliness and accuracy of financial reporting
