Job Summary:The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring efficient service delivery, patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and optimal utilization of resources across all departments.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily hospital operations including OPD, IPD, Emergency, Diagnostics, and Support ServicesEnsure smooth coordination between clinical and non-clinical departmentsImplement and monitor operational policies, SOPs, and hospital protocolsEnsure compliance with healthcare standards such as NABH guidelinesMonitor patient flow, reduce waiting time, and improve patient experienceOversee staffing, duty rosters, and manpower planningHandle escalations, patient grievances, and service recoveryEnsure adherence to infection control and biomedical waste management protocolsCoordinate with HR for recruitment, training, and performance managementManage vendor relationships and hospital suppliesTrack KPIs such as bed occupancy rate, turnaround time (TAT), and patient satisfaction scoresSupport hospital management in budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimizationPrepare operational reports and present insights to senior managementKey Skills:Strong leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesKnowledge of hospital operations and healthcare systemsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle high-pressure situationsFamiliarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS)Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Healthcare background preferred)Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA) / MBA in Healthcare Management – Preferred
