With ambitious growth plans, they are focused on building robust financial structures and strategic clarity to support sustainable success.Job Summary / Role OverviewAs Head of Finance / Finance Director, you will hold full responsibility for financial oversight, governance, and strategic direction across both organisations. Reporting directly to the Chairman and working closely with Managing Directors, you will act as a key advisor at board level.This role is primarily strategic and oversight-focused, with day-to-day transactional work managed by bookkeepers. You will ensure financial accuracy, drive planning processes, and provide commercial insights to support decision-making and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic financial leadership to both organisationsPartner with the Chairman and Managing Directors to support commercial growth and financial strategyOversee and line manage one bookkeeper in each businessLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesReview monthly management accounts and financial reporting packsMaintain oversight of cash flow management and liquidity planningEnsure accurate stock accounting within the P&L (where applicable)Oversee financial controls, reconciliations, and compliance processesReview and approve payroll, statutory deductions, and related submissionsManage month-end close processes and review working papersMaintain fixed asset registers and oversee accruals, prepayments, and provisionsEnsure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirementsSupport commercial negotiations and financial modelling where requiredAct as a key financial advisor at board levelLiaise with external providers including legal cashier service providers and banking partnersConduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requiredRequired QualificationsUK Chartered Accountant (CA – UK)Minimum 3–4 years’ experience at Head of Finance or Director levelProven experience within services-based businesses and environments with stock reflected in P&LExperience within small to mid-sized organisations (5–25 million turnover)Strong working knowledge of XeroDemonstrated ability to take ownership and operate independently from day oneHigh level of financial accuracy and analytical capabilityStrong written and verbal English communication skills (minimum 4.5/5 proficiency)Confident presenting financial information to board-level stakeholdersPreferred SkillsExperience supporting multiple entities or group structuresCommercially astute with strong negotiation skillsExperience in operationally focused, growth-stage businessesStrong leadership and people management capabilityAbility to manage sensitive financial and people matters with professionalism and discretionWork ScheduleMonday to FridayStandard business hours: 13:30 PM to 22:30 PMWhat We OfferYearly Compensation : INR 30 Lakhs - INR 33 LakhsSenior leadership and board-level influenceOpportunity to shape financial strategy across two growing organisationsFlexible, part-time working arrangementDirect collaboration with Chairman and Managing DirectorsA values-led culture built on trust, respect, and accountabilityReal impact across two ambitious and expanding businesses
