Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for supporting the overall data strategy of the Business Intelligence & Analytics department, with a particular focus on ticket pricing. The position will contribute throughout the whole data analytics lifecycle, including business system administration, data acquisition, data hygiene, reporting, predictive analytics, and business application. Additionally, the role will proactively find areas of opportunity to streamline internal processes, develop automation, and build scalable data solutions. A technical and analytical approach to problem solving and a critical thinking mindset will be key success factors for delivering unique and actionable business solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize market intelligence data to enhance dynamic ticket pricing strategy and inventory management as well as create individual game models to adjust inventory and pricing in real-timeLead annual variable pricing strategy to maximize ticketing revenue opportunities.Play a central role in ticket inventory management throughout the season, leveraging pricing and allocation across multiple products for best revenue outcomesArchitected end-to-end data pipelines using dbt to transform complex raw sources into optimized, analytical data models Build live dashboards using Databricks SQL, creating charts and graphs to track KPIs and business trends in real-timeLeverage Databricks Lakehouse architecture to build scalable SQL queries, develop collaborative notebooks, and deliver actionable business insights through integrated dashboardsAcquire, organize, analyze, and present data from ticket sales, concessions and merchandise sales, social media and website engagement, corporate partnership sales, stadium operations, loyalty programs, market research and various other business verticalsUse SQL queries to retrieve business information, respond to ad hoc requests Build relationships with various internal stakeholders to understand objectives and build consensusDesign and develop internal systems and scripts to acquire data that can be used to enhance and automate the business processPerform database segmentation to target fans with relevant marketing communicationsSupport the continuous development of internal business data warehouse by identifying opportunities within ETL processesAssist in the programming and execution of fan surveying effortsRequired Tech Stack & QualificationsA degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Economics6+ years in an analytical roleExperience with pricing analytics highly preferredConsiderable experience with data analytics (e.g. SQL, Python coding) to perform data explorationProficiency with Microsoft Excel, and other Office productsCurious self-starter who learns new concepts quicklyClose attention to detail
