Design & build the core architectureCraft a multi-tenant back end on Node + ExpressModel MongoDB schemas for design assets, RFQs, POs, and workflow eventsDeliver clean, versioned REST/GraphQL APIs for the React front end and third-party integrations2. Embed intelligent, AI-driven featuresIntegrate LLM services for auto-generated tech packs, smart RFQ comparisons, and conversational vendor chatEvaluate tools such as OpenAI, LangChain, Pinecone, or fine-tuned in-house models3. Lead DevOps & cloud deploymentSelect and configure the cloud stack (AWS / GCP / Azure)Stand up IaC, CI/CD pipelines, staging, and blue-green deploymentsSource and manage DevOps contractors as load scales4. Set engineering standards & strategyEstablish code-quality, observability, security, and data-privacy baselines (SOC 2 journey)Maintain living architecture docs and run design reviews5.
