Job Opening: Senior Manager / AGM – Supply Chain Management (Commercial Head)Location: New Delhi Experience: 15+ yearsAbout Antal:Antal International, East Patel Nagar Delhi, is a leading recruitment consultancy having expertise in connecting top talent across IT, Manufacturing and FMCG industries with leading organizations.About the role:The role holder will lead the end-to-end Supply Chain operations in a large-scale petrochemical environment, ensuring seamless integration across planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, distribution, and exports/imports. This position will play a strategic role in optimizing costs, strengthening vendor and customer relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business growth with world-class supply chain practices.Key Responsibilities:Strategic & Functional Leadership•Develop and implement robust supply chain strategies aligned with company’s business objectives.•Drive digitization, automation, and adoption of advanced supply chain technologies (SAP, ERP, WMS, etc.).•Benchmark supply chain performance with industry best practices to deliver cost efficiencies.Procurement & Vendor Management•Lead procurement of raw materials, intermediates, chemicals, packaging, and indirect supplies.•Build and manage strategic partnerships with local and global vendors to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely supply.•Negotiate long-term supply contracts and mitigate vendor risks.Logistics & Distribution•Oversee bulk liquid transportation, hazardous materials handling, and international shipping (export-import).•Optimize inbound & outbound logistics (rail, road, sea) with cost control and safety as priorities.•Ensure adherence to DGFT, FEMA, IMDG, REACH, EXIM, Customs, and statutory compliance frameworks.Inventory & Warehousing•Maintain efficient inventory planning and order fulfilment to balance working capital and operational needs.•Implement warehouse safety, automation, and 5S practices for petrochemical storage facilities.•Drive inventory accuracy, minimize pilferage, and strengthen hazardous goods handling protocols.Commercial & Regulatory Compliance•Ensure compliance with Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO), Pollution Control Board norms, ISO standards, and labor laws in supply chain operations.•Lead commercial documentation for exports/imports, LC management, freight contracts, and port operations.•Drive adherence to sustainability goals in supply chain (green logistics, waste minimization, carbon footprint reduction).Team & Stakeholder Management•Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team for future leadership roles.•Coordinate closely with Production, Marketing, Finance, Quality, and Projects teams to deliver a collaborative supply chain ecosystem.•Serve as a strategic partner to CXOs with insights on market dynamics and risk scenarios.Desired Candidate Profile•B.
