JOB Role - Analyst - Real Estate Private EquityLocation MumbaiJOB PURPOSEWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Investment Team in Mumbai. The role offers comprehensive exposure to the full investment lifecycle – from acquisitions and underwriting to fundraising, business planning, and strategy execution.The ideal candidate is a sharp financial thinker with strong modeling skills, excellent presentation capabilities, and a dedication to high-performance output. You’ll be working closely with senior team members across key strategic initiatives.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESFinancial Modeling & Investment AnalysisDevelop sophisticated and dynamic Excel models to underwrite acquisitions, including sensitivity analyses, IRRs, equity multiples, and cash flow scenarios across various capital structures Analyze real estate opportunities (primarily commercial office and industrial/warehousing) through rigorous underwriting and market diligence.Deconstruct third-party developer models and challenge key assumptions (costs, yields, rents, timelines).Fundraising & GP Business PlanningPrepare and manage quarterly GP-level business plans used for fundraising and board presentations.Coordinate closely with legal teams and advisors on preparation of fund documentation such as the PPM, term sheets, and other investor materials.Due Diligence & Deal ExecutionLead onboarding and coordination with consultants for legal, technical, tax, and commercial due diligence.Assist in reviewing transaction documentation, managing timelines, and supporting closing processes.Strategic Reporting & Asset MonitoringSupport in crafting high-quality investment committee presentations and internal strategy memos.Maintain performance tracking dashboards and contribute to strategic decision-making post-acquisition.Educational QualificationsMBA (Finance), CA, or equivalent from a top-tier institution.CFA designation or progress towards it is a plus.Relevant and total years of Experience3–4 years of experience in real estate investing, private equity, investment banking, or a related financial role.Exposure to real estate financial modeling, deal structuring, and presentation development.
