Through thoughtfully designed solutions and highly automated managed services, we deliver reliable outcomes backed by deep technical expertise and a continuously optimized delivery platform.Job Title: D365 Field Service Techno-FunctionalRole SummaryThe D365 Field Service Techno-Functional Consultant will act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service implementations, owning the full project lifecycle from discovery and solution design through configuration, testing, and deployment.This role combines strong functional consulting capabilities with hands-on technical execution, working closely with clients to transform field service operations and deliver scalable, industry-aligned solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & Architecture• Lead requirements workshops to document current-state processes, challenges, and business objectives.• Conduct fit-gap analysis and translate requirements into functional and technical designs.• Design integration architecture with D365 Finance, Supply Chain, and third-party systems.• Define data migration strategies and mapping for legacy systems.Configuration & Implementation• Configure D365 Field Service modules including:o Work Orders, Incident Types, Service Taskso Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO) and URSo Service Agreements, SLA, Warranty Trackingo Asset Management and Maintenance Scheduleso Field Service Mobile app and technician workflowso Inventory and truck stock management• Develop Power Platform solutions (Model-driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate).• Build custom plugins and JavaScript-based enhancements.• Configure Dataverse security, roles, and access controls.Testing & Quality Assurance• Develop and execute test plans across SIT and UAT cycles.• Manage defect tracking, resolution, and regression testing.• Validate data migration accuracy and completeness.Deployment & Adoption• Plan and execute deployments using Azure DevOps and ALM practices.• Conduct end-user training and train-the-trainer sessions.• Provide hyper care support during go-live and stabilization.Stakeholder & Client Management• Act as a primary functional and technical contact for clients.• Translate business needs into scalable solutions.• Manage expectations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.Practice Development• Build demo environments and reusable accelerators.• Develop industry-specific templates for leasing, rental, and asset finance sectors.• Support pre-sales activities including demos, RFPs, and estimations.• Stay updated with D365 Field Service roadmap and certifications.Required Skills & Experience : Experience• 10 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service or CRM implementations.• Minimum 3 full-cycle D365 Field Service implementations.• Experience owning a workstream or functional area.• Proven techno-functional expertise across requirements and configuration.Technical Skills• Strong expertise in D365 Field Service modules (Work Orders, Scheduling, Assets, Agreements, Inventory).• Experience with RSO and URS.• Strong Power Platform experience (Model-driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).• Knowledge of Dataverse, SDK, and Web API.• Experience with Azure DevOps and ALM processes.• Field Service Mobile app configuration experience.Functional Skills• Strong understanding of field service operations and workflows.• Experience conducting workshops and designing process flows.• Data migration planning and execution experience.Professional Skills• Strong communication and client-facing skills.• Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.• Comfortable presenting to business and technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications• Industry experience in equipment leasing, rental, warranty, or asset finance (US markets preferred).• Exposure to manufacturing, utilities, or construction field service operations.• Experience with Azure IoT Hub or Connected Field Service.• Integration experience with D365 Finance or Supply Chain.• Plugin development using C# and JavaScript customization.• Certifications such as MB-240, PL-200, PL-400, MB-300.• Experience with Agile/Scrum and pre-sales activities.Why Join OwlSure?• Work with global clients across Insurance, Healthcare, and Financial Services.• Be part of a growing Microsoft Dynamics Field Service practice.• Opportunity to build accelerators and shape industry-specific solutions.• High ownership role with strong visibility and impact
