The role requires deep industry connections, strategic thinking, and proven expertise in driving campus placements across diverse disciplines. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in enhancing employer engagement, student employability, and institutional brand positioning.Key Responsibilities1. Corporate Engagement & Relationship ManagementDevelop and nurture long-term relationships with top corporates across industries.Identify and onboard new recruiters for campus hiring.Act as a key interface between the university and industry partners.Organize corporate visits, leadership talks, and networking forums.2. Campus Placement Strategy & ExecutionDesign and implement comprehensive placement strategies to achieve placement targets.Lead end-to-end campus recruitment processes (PPTs, assessments, interviews, offer rollouts).Ensure high-quality job opportunities for students across programs.Monitor and improve placement outcomes (CTC, diversity of roles, recruiter base).3. Industry Interface & PartnershipsEstablish strategic alliances with organizations for internships, live projects, and placements.Collaborate with academic teams to align curriculum with industry requirements.Facilitate MoUs, industry tie-ups, and knowledge exchange initiatives.4. Student Readiness & EmployabilityDrive initiatives for enhancing student employability (mock interviews, soft skills training, resume building).Work closely with training teams to bridge skill gaps.Mentor students on career pathways and industry expectations.5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementLead and manage placement teams across multiple schools/departments.Coordinate with internal stakeholders (faculty, leadership, training teams).Ensure smooth execution of placement activities across the university.6.
