The Transition Manager / Transition Lead is responsible for end‑to‑end planning and execution of business process transitions from client/onshore locations to offshore or nearshore delivery centers. The role ensures seamless knowledge transfer, risk mitigation, service continuity, and successful stabilization into steady‑state operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end‑to‑end transition lifecycle (Due Diligence → Go‑Live → Stabilization)Define transition strategy, roadmap, milestones, and governanceManage knowledge transfer (KT) plans, execution, certification, and sign‑offsOwn transition risk register, mitigation actions, and escalationsCoordinate stakeholders across client, onshore, offshore, IT, and operationsPlan and manage resource ramp‑up aligned to volumes and timelinesEnsure process documentation (SOPs, DTPs, work instructions) readinessDrive go‑live and stabilization, ensuring minimal business disruptionHandover smoothly to steady‑state delivery teamsKey Skills & ExperienceStrong program / project management skillsProven experience in BPO / Shared Services / GCC transitionsDomain knowledge of O2C / P2P / R2R / Finance & Operations (preferred) but not mandatory Expertise in risk management, KT governance, and stakeholder managementExposure to Lean, RCA, FMEA is an advantageQualificationsBachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)10–18+ years of experience in transitions, operations, or delivery excellenceExperience managing multi‑location, multi‑stakeholder transitions
