Responsibilities include analyzing pricing data, preparing cost estimates, supporting sales teams with competitive rates, and ensuring accurate and timely bid submissions. The role also involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary data and providing insights based on market trends to optimize pricing strategies.QualificationsPositions requiring a minimum of 5 years of sea freight/ocean pricing experience are actively available, particularly in Mumbai, focusing on negotiating rates with shipping lines and NVOCC partners to optimize logistics costs. Key roles involve managing export/import pricing, analyzing market trends, and developing rate structures for ocean freightStrong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Data Analysis to interpret and manage pricing data effectivelyEffective Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholdersKnowledge of Finance with the ability to understand cost structures, margins, and profitabilityExperience in Sales and a customer-oriented mindset to support business initiativesAttention to detail and proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Excel, ERP systems)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlinesPrior experience in ocean export pricing, freight forwarding, or logistics is advantageousBachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
