Open Locations: Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, GurugramWe are seeking an experienced ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM, HAMPRO) Specialist to lead the implementation, configuration and ongoing management of the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Pro module across our client estate. This role is central to a major transformation programme, focused on replacing manual CMDB processes with automated, traceable hardware lifecycle management for over hardware assets across geo regions.The successful candidate will own the end-to-end HAM Pro delivery — from CMDB data quality baselining and integration design through to EoL alerting, refresh planning dashboards, and PCI-DSS compliant audit workflows. This is a highly technical role requiring deep ServiceNow platform expertise, IT knowledge, and the ability to work across infrastructure, compliance and procurement stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:HAM Pro Implementation & ConfigurationLead end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow HAM Pro module for the hardware estateConfigure hardware asset lifecycle policies covering procurement, deployment, maintenance, retirement and disposalDefine and implement HAM Pro normalisation rules to standardise vendor and model data ingested from multiple 3rd party integrations with ServiceNowEstablish hardware asset record structures mapped to correct SU classesBuild and maintain contract and warranty tracking for device fleetsImplement Certificate of Destruction (CoD) workflows for payment terminals in line with regulatory requirementsCMDB Data Quality & IntegrationResolve CMDB data quality issues across CIs, including undefined operational status and unmapped store locationsDesign and configure integration connectors between ServiceNow HAM Pro and other 3rd party systems for hardware:Implement scheduled discovery reconciliation to detect orphaned, stale or duplicate CI recordsEstablish location mapping hierarchy: Store → Country → RegionReporting, Dashboards & ComplianceDesign and deliver regional store hardware health dashboards for IT ops and procurement teamsBuild EoL and warranty expiry alerting rules per asset type as per refresh cyclesProduce audit-ready hardware asset reports for regulatory compliance and internal audit requirementsConfigure hardware TCO and cost-per-store reporting aligned to cost centre and business unit structuresCreate executive-level dashboards showing fleet age, refresh pipeline, and regional compliance postureStakeholder Engagement & GovernanceAct as the primary ServiceNow HAM Pro subject matter expert for the IT programmeCollaborate with various teams to align HAM processes to business workflowsDefine and document HAM governance framework: roles, approval workflows, disposal authorisation and audit trailsConduct HAM Pro training and knowledge transfer sessions for regional IT teams and store support staffSupport phased rollout governance:Required Experience & Qualifications:Essential10–15 years of total IT experience with a minimum of 5 years hands-on ServiceNow platform deliveryProven implementation experience of ServiceNow HAM Pro module in a complex, multi-site enterprise environmentDeep expertise in CMDB architecture, CI class modelling and data quality managementStrong understanding of hardware asset lifecycle management from procurement through to certified disposalExperience integrating ServiceNow with MDM/UEM platforms (Microsoft Intune, Jamf, VMware Workspace ONE)Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting: GlideScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow DesignerFamiliarity with HAM Pro SU (Subscription Unit) licensing model and asset classification ratiosExperience working in or supporting various IT environmentsKnowledge of regulatory requirements as they relate to payment terminal asset management and disposalITIL v4 Foundation certified or equivalent service management framework experienceHighly DesirableServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist — Hardware Asset Management (CIS-HAM)ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)Experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and/or Service MappingHands-on experience with ServiceNow integrationsFamiliarity with ServiceNow Event Management and Observability tools integration for AIOps workflowsExperience delivering HAM implementations on large-scale IT programmesKnowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud resource management within CMDBPrior experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics for hardware asset KPI reporting
