About the Role:We are looking for Solar Power Plant Design AM/DM with hands-on experience in utility-scale (100 MW+) solar PV projects. The role involves complete electrical design, engineering, and coordination for large-scale solar power plants.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and engineering of AC & DC systems for solar PV plantsPreparation of plant layouts (PV Layout, inverter stations, control rooms, cable routing, etc.)Development of Single Line Diagrams (DC & AC SLD, Protection, Metering, Aux systems)Perform design calculations:Cable sizing (MV/LT/DC)Earthing & lightning protectionShort circuit & busbar sizingBattery, UPS, transformer sizingCT/VT selection & relay settingsPreparation of:Technical specifications & tender documentsBOQ/BOM, cable schedules, IO listsBlock Logic Diagrams & MIS reportsDesign & review of Control, Protection & SCADA systemsVendor drawing review and technical evaluationEnsure compliance with CEA regulations & applicable standardsCoordinate with civil and multidisciplinary teams for GFC drawingsParticipate in technical discussions, site visits, and issue resolutionDrive value engineering & design optimizationRequirementsB.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering5–10 years of experience in solar PV designMust have worked on ≥100 MW utility-scale solar project (detailed engineering)Strong knowledge of:Solar plant electrical systemsProtection schemes & SCADAIndian grid standards (CEA compliance)Key SkillsAutoCAD, ETAP, PVsystStrong analytical & problem-solving skillsGood communication & stakeholder coordination
