About The Role:The Visual Storytelling, Merchandising & Experience Lead will be responsible for conceptualizing, executing, and maintaining immersive in-store experiences across all Foodstories locations.This role blends creativity with structure — you will be both a creator and custodian of the brand’s visual and sensory identity, ensuring every store delivers a consistent yet ever-evolving experience.What You Will Own1. Build Monthly Store ExperiencesCo-create seasonal and thematic concepts with founders and internal teamsTranslate ideas into immersive, multi-sensory in-store environmentsContinuously evolve themes through the month to keep stores dynamic2. Own the 5-Sense ExperienceDesign and implement experiences across:Sight – Visual merchandising, displays, lightingSmell – Fragrance, fresh produce, ambient scentsSound – Music, ambient audioTouch – Materials, textures, accessibilityTaste – Sampling, food experiencesEnsure every visit is rich, layered, and memorable.3. Drive Everyday Visual Merchandising ExcellenceMaintain world-class VM standards across all stores dailyEnsure shelves, produce, and displays feel curated, abundant, and cleanUphold consistency in brand language across all touchpoints4. Build Systems & PlaybooksDevelop clear and scalable VM guidelines, including:Display principlesMaterial usageSeasonal transitionsDo’s & don’tsDefine what “great” looks like to ensure consistencyCreate simple, practical systems for store teams to execute daily5. Train & Elevate Store TeamsTrain store teams on VM fundamentals and brand sensibilityBuild ownership of in-store displays at the team levelConduct:Store walkthroughsFeedback sessionsOn-ground coachingGoal: Every team member becomes a custodian of detail and aesthetics.6.
