You will be responsible for ensuring that the flow of goods—from the initial Purchase Order (PO) to the final customer shipment—is seamless, data-driven, and synchronized across all sales channels. Your primary objective is to minimize friction in inbound/outbound logistics and build scalable SOPs that protect the company’s fulfillment capacity. Key Responsibilities :1. Inbound Quality & Compliance Management ● Vendor & Category Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact to resolve discrepancies identified during the warehouse /"inwarding/" process (e.g., SKU mismatches, labeling errors, or physical damage). ● Data Integrity Oversight: Ensure all incoming inventory aligns with digital records (PO vs. Physical) and that product attributes (MRP, images, descriptions) are verified before hitting the shelves. ● Discrepancy Resolution: Orchestrate the /"problem-solving loop/" between the Sourcing team and the Warehouse to handle shortages, excess stock, or tampered shipments without stalling operations. 2. Multi-Channel Outbound Orchestration ● Capacity Planning: Manage the Warehouse Outbound Calendar by balancing fulfillment requests across EBOs, MBOs, Marketplaces, and Offline channels to prevent operational bottlenecks. ● Demand Smoothing: Proactively coordinate with Channel Managers to /"level-load/" outbound volume, ensuring the warehouse isn't overwhelmed by simultaneous spikes from different business units. ● Strategic Forecasting: Collaborate with Category heads to gain visibility into quarterly launches or seasonal shifts, translating these business goals into actionable labor and space requirements for the Ops team.3. Cross-Functional Process Excellence ● SOP Development: Design and refine standard operating procedures that align Finance, Sourcing, and Logistics, ensuring that /"paperwork/" (E-way bills, tax invoices, manifests) never slows down physical movement. ● System Advocacy: Identify recurring friction points in the supply chain and advocate for tech or process improvements to automate manual coordination. ● Inter-departmental Mediation: Serve as the /"voice of the warehouse/" in central office meetings, ensuring that commercial decisions are made with a clear understanding of operational constraints. Ideal Candidate Profile :Experience 5–8 years in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Operations Planning (preferably in D2C, Retail, or E-commerce). Analytical Skill Strong ability to interpret inventory data and warehouse capacity metrics. Communication Exceptional stakeholder management; ability to say /"no/" while also providing an alternative solution. Toolkit Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), ERPs (like NetSuite or SAP), and advanced Excel.
