We move fast, operate lean, and build systems that genuinely change how work gets done. We need a senior administrator who can help define and build AI first IT operations — we’re not managing a legacy environment. We’re architecting a cloud-first, AI-assisted operations model from the ground up.The RoleWe’re hiring a Senior IT Administrator to own IT operations for a ~70–100 user, fully remote environment built on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune.This is a high-ownership, hands-on role — not a ticket queue job. You’ll be the primary architect and operator of our IT infrastructure, working directly with leadership to modernize systems and introduce AI and automation into day-to-day IT operations.If you want to be the person who decides how things are built — not just someone who maintains what exists — this role is for you.What You’ll OwnPhase 1 — Setup & Transition ∙ Assess current environment: devices, identities, network, and security posture ∙ Deploy and standardize Microsoft 365, Intune, and the security stack (Defender, Conditional Access, DLP) ∙ Establish identity governance, MFA, backup, and baseline security controls ∙ Stand up ITSM/ticketing system and SLA frameworkOngoing Operations ∙ Own end-user support across devices and Microsoft 365 apps ∙ Manage Azure and M365 tenant — licensing, configurations, health ∙ Administer endpoint management via Intune (policies, compliance, enrollment) ∙ Handle security monitoring and incident response — EDR, email threats, identity anomalies ∙ Run patching, backups, and system health across the environment ∙ Manage VPN and basic network/firewall configurations ∙ Report on ticket trends, SLAs, and system health to leadershipAI-Driven IT (What Makes This Different)You’ll actively contribute to building AI into IT operations: ∙ Automate repetitive tasks: provisioning, deprovisioning, alert triage ∙ Use AI tools to analyze logs, alerts, and system signals for proactive response ∙ Improve ticket resolution with intelligent routing and knowledge base automation ∙ Build foundations for automated compliance evidence collection (SOC 2, CMMC) ∙ Collaborate on internal tools that make IT data-driven and predictiveYou won’t just manage infrastructure — you’ll help define what the next generation of IT operations looks like.What We’re Looking ForRequired ∙ 5–8 years of IT administration experience, ideally including MSP or multi-client environments ∙ Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) ∙ Strong Intune administration — device enrollment, compliance policies, app deployment ∙ Azure experience — Entra ID (AAD), Conditional Access, role management ∙ Endpoint security — Microsoft Defender or equivalent EDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne) ∙ PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks (this is a real requirement, not a nice-to-have) ∙ Solid networking fundamentals — DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall basics ∙ Backup and patch management in a cloud-first environment ∙ Comfortable owning IT independently — you set the priorities, you close the loopPreferred ∙ Experience supporting SOC 2, CMMC, or similar compliance frameworks ∙ Exposure to AI/automation tools (Power Automate, scripting pipelines, LLM-based tools) ∙ ITSM platform experience (Freshservice, Jira Service Management, ServiceNow) ∙ Relevant certifications: MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300, or equivalentWhy This Role ∙ Full ownership — you run IT end-to-end, not just respond to tickets ∙ Modern stack — Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Defender; no legacy baggage ∙ Real AI work — not a buzzword; you’ll actively build automation into IT operations ∙ Direct impact — your work is visible and consequential from day one ∙ Flexibility — remote-first; part-time arrangements considered for the right candidateCompensationTop tier compensation  designed to be highly competitive and reflective of the ownership, impact, and growth opportunity in this role
