SAP SOM Data Migration Consultant Location:Remote Employment Type:Full-time with client Shift time: Indian shift (10 to 7 pm IST)EXP:10+ YearsJob Summary We are seeking an experiencedSAP SOM (Subscription Order Management) Data Migration Consultantwith 8+ years of SAP experience, including strong expertise in data migration strategies, tools, and execution within SAP SOM / BRIM landscapes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.Key Responsibilities Leadend-to-end data migrationactivities for SAP SOM implementations and rollouts Analyze legacy systems and definedata migration strategy, approach, and architecture Performdata extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)for SOM objects such as: Business Partners Subscription Contracts Master Data & Transactional Data Design and executedata mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliationprocesses Work with functional teams to understandSOM/BRIM data models and business rules Develop and executemigration cycles(mock loads, dress rehearsals, cutover) Ensuredata quality, integrity, and audit compliancethroughout migration lifecycle Identify and resolvedata-related issues and inconsistencies Collaborate with technical teams onLSMW, BODS, Migration Cockpit, or custom tools Supportcutover planning and go-live activities Prepare and maintaindocumentation, data migration runbooks, and reconciliation reportsRequired Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of SAP experience with at least2–3 full lifecycle implementations Strong experience inSAP SOM / BRIM (Subscription Order Management) Hands-on expertise indata migration tools , such as: SAP Data Services (BODS) LSMW / Migration Cockpit Custom ETL tools Deep understanding of: SAP SOM data structures Subscription lifecycle and order management processes Strong SQL and data analysis skills Familiarity withS/4HANA environments Knowledge ofintegration points with SAP CI, FICA, SD, and CRM Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience inSAP BRIM implementations(Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing) Knowledge ofdata governance and data quality frameworks Exposure toAgile/Scrum methodologies SAP certification in relevant modules (preferred)Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple priorities Nice to Have Experience inFinTech (Financial Technology)domain, especially subscription-based or billing platforms Hands-on experience withSAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management)components Experience intelecom, utilities, or subscription-based industries Exposure tocloud-based SAP solutions Basic ABAP debugging knowledge
