Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned Project Engineer with 8–10 years of experience in industrial project execution and plant engineering. This role involves managing end-to-end commissioning of factories—from design and layout finalization to civil, electrical, and equipment installation—as well as overseeing repair and maintenance across our existing factory network. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven execution experience, and the ability to independently drive projects with accountability for time, cost, and quality. Key ResponsibilitiesNew Factory CommissioningLead complete greenfield and brownfield factory projects, from planning to commissioning.Finalize floor layouts balancing process flow, safety, utilities, and space optimization.Supervise civil works, electrical systems, and utility infrastructure to ensure timely completion and compliance.Oversee procurement, delivery, and installation of equipment; coordinate with vendors and contractors.Drive project timelines, cost control, and quality adherence.Prepare regular project status reports and present to management. Factory Support & MaintenanceProvide technical leadership for repair and maintenance across multiple operating factories.Establish and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to maximize uptime.Troubleshoot and resolve major equipment, electrical, and utility breakdowns.Train and guide site teams on engineering best practices and safety standards.Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental requirements. Qualifications & SkillsB.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering.8–10 years of relevant experience in project execution, factory commissioning, and plant engineering.Strong track record in setting up manufacturing units (preferred: FMCG, food processing, feed, or process industries).Strong project management skills — budgeting, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination.Ability to work independently and travel extensively across factory locations.Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
