Oracle EBS R12 Procurement Lead (Contract)Start Date: ImmediateLocation: IndiaTravel: Fully RemoteTime Zone: CETDuration: 12 months + extensionsRole OverviewThe Oracle EBS R12 Procurement Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, support, and optimization of procurement modules within Oracle E-Business Suite R12, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.Key Responsibilities:1. Functional LeadershipLead end-to-end implementation and support of Oracle Procurement modules:Purchasing (PO)iProcurementSourcingSupplier Lifecycle Management (SLM)Act as the primary point of contact for procurement-related solutions.2. Business Process DesignGather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.Design and optimize procurement workflows:Procure-to-Pay (P2P)Supplier onboardingApproval hierarchiesRecommend best practices aligned with Oracle standards.3. Implementation & ConfigurationConfigure Oracle R12 modules:Purchasing setups (document types, approval groups)Requisition and PO workflowsAME (Approval Management Engine)Lead system integration with:InventoryAccounts PayableGeneral Ledger4. Team LeadershipManage and mentor functional consultants and analysts.Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, reports, and interfaces.Oversee deliverables, timelines, and quality.5. Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams.Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions.Provide strategic guidance on procurement transformation.6. Support & OptimizationProvide post-implementation support and issue resolution.Drive continuous improvement and system enhancements.Handle patches, upgrades, and compliance changes.Required Skills & Experience:10+ years of experience in Oracle EBS, including at least 4+ years in a lead roleStrong expertise in Oracle EBS R12 Procurement modules including Purchasing, iProcurement, and SourcingDeep understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle and procurement processesHands-on experience with Approval Management Engine (AME), workflow configuration, and supplier lifecycle managementWorking knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle WorkflowExperience with interfaces, data conversions, reporting, and integrations with Finance and Supply Chain modules such as Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and InventoryProven experience in multiple end-to-end implementations and global or multi-org environmentsStrong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and project management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into system solutionsBachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field, with Oracle certifications preferredIf you are interested please submit your CV or send it to
