This role will be critical in reducing production bugs, improving release quality, and implementing automation-first testing practices.You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Support teams to ensure all features are delivered with high reliability, especially across critical flows such as orders, payments, and integrations.Key Responsibilities1. Test Strategy & AutomationDesign and implement automated test frameworks (UI, API, integration)Build and maintain regression suites within CI/CD pipelinesDrive shift-left testing practices2. QA Execution & CoverageDefine and execute test plans, cases, and scenariosPerform functional, regression, integration, and performance testingEnsure high coverage across critical business flows3. Bug Management & TriageManage structured bug triage (P0–P3 severity)Track defects using Jira / Linear and ensure timely resolutionPartner with Engineering to reduce MTTR4. CI/CD & Release QualityIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesSupport release validation, smoke testing, and rollback readinessOwn QA sign-off and go/no-go decisions for releases5. Leadership & QA GovernanceLead and mentor QA engineers; enforce QA standards and best practicesEstablish QA metrics (defect leakage, coverage, MTTR) and reportingAct as the main QA point of contact for stakeholders6. Continuous Improvement & CollaborationLead post-release reviews and root cause analysisWork with Product, Engineering, and Support to improve quality processesIdentify gaps and implement preventative measuresKey RequirementsExperience7- 8+ years in QA / SDET roles (SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce preferred)Experience leading QA initiatives or small teamsTechnical SkillsProficiency in Java, JavaScript, or PythonExperience with Selenium / Cypress / PlaywrightStrong API testing experience (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)Understanding of microservices architecture and basic SQLStarting Salary: ₹1,00,000.00 per month
