Job Role: Associate Director (Investment Services Tech) – Core TechLocation: Hyderabad, IndiaOur client is a global investment and technology development firm with offices in North America, Europe, and Asia. The firm has a significant presence in the world's capital markets, investing in a wide range of companies and financial instruments in both developed and developing economies.We seek an experienced technology leader with an excellent engineering foundation and a proven track record in building and delivering full-stack enterprise products to join the Investment Services Tech team based out of Hyderabad. The team handles technology for Finance and Operations business units, supporting post-trade activities, trade accounting, portfolio accounting, management company accounting, fund accounting, valuation, treasury, compliance, tax, senior management compensation, regulatory, and investor reporting activities. The ideal candidate will be language and framework agnostic — comfortable working with Python, Java, or other enterprise-grade technologies — and able to design solutions end-to-end, from architecture to deployment.WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY-TO-DAY:You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high‑performance enterprise applications across the full technology stack. You will architect and implement robust data strategies that include data pipelines, storage solutions, and data SLA management. Your role will involve driving database performance through optimized queries and efficient application design. You will develop both high‑level and low-level designs, ensuring scalability, availability, and maintainability. You will work closely with business stakeholders to co‑create strategies, set clear expectations, and ensure accountability in delivery. In addition, you will oversee project management activities including scope definition, milestone planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
