This is a hybrid position, offering a blend of remote and in-office work, where you will play a key role in supporting our HR operations with a focus on recruitment and labor law compliance in India. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers. Conduct initial screenings of candidates, assess qualifications, and maintain candidate databases. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in India, including but not limited to employment contracts, statutory compliance, and record-keeping. Assist in onboarding new employees, including paperwork, orientation programs, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Handle employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related matters. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, both physical and digital. Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned, such as employee engagement activities or performance management processes. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience 1 year as an HR Assistant, preferably in a similar role with knowledge of labor law in India. Solid understanding of recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques. Familiarity with Indian labor laws and statutory compliance requirements. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent). Experience working in a hybrid or remote work environment.
