Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.Business Development: Drive end-to-end new business development in the passenger bus and commercial vehicle segments.Market & Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor the Indian bus market, competitor activities, and product trends to inform marketing and product strategies.Sales Operations: Prepare quotations, service concepts, and lead price and contract negotiations with OEM / Institutional clients.Sales Planning & Forecasting: Define sales-promotional actions and ensure accurate sales planning and forecasting in coordination with internal teams.Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key OEM / Institutional clients and business stakeholders.International Business Exposure: Manage and support international business opportunities where applicable.Presentation & Communication: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on sales and marketing strategies to internal and external stakeholders.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Leading Business Development StrategiesMarket Penetration & Share GrowthNew Customer AcquisitionIntroduction of New Product LinesTop Line Revenue GrowthSales Forecast AccuracyCustomer Satisfaction & RetentionTeam Performance & DevelopmentRequired Qualifications & Skills:Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering with additional knowledge in Business Administration, or vice versa.Industry Knowledge: Specialized knowledge in Bus Air Conditioning / Refrigeration or experience in the Automotive/Commercial vehicle industry is highly desirable.Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of experience in OEM / Institutional sales, with a strong track record in B2B business development and team leadership.Skills:Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skillsAbility to build a sales function from the ground upExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office toolsStrong customer focus and solution-oriented mindset
