About the Department of Social Sciences The Department of Social Sciences encompasses three academic areas — International Studies, Public Policy, and Sociology — and offers courses across programmes in the Faculty of Liberal Education. Position Overview The Department of Social Sciences invites applications from qualified scholars and practitioners for Visiting Faculty positions for AY 2026–27. Visiting Faculty will be responsible for teaching one or more courses at the undergraduate level related to the areas of specialisations in the list below, spread across both semesters of the academic year. Position: Visiting Faculty Department: Social Sciences Engagement Type: Contractual Expected number of sessions per course: 40-45 hours Remuneration: 2000-3000/- per hour based on experience and qualifications, as approved by the Dean. Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate level in a liberal arts or interdisciplinary setting. Strong command of the subject matter, as evidenced by publications, professional experience, or prior teaching.
