Business Development Manager – Ranges Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Ranges (Training & Simulation Systems) business. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the end-to-end sales cycle within defense, paramilitary, and allied sectors. Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities in the defense, paramilitary, and law enforcement sectors. Promote and sell live firing ranges, virtual simulation systems, and training solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, defense officials, and institutional clients. Track and analyze tenders (RFP/RFQ), prepare proposals, and coordinate bid submissions. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and competitor activities. Collaborate with internal teams (technical, production, and leadership) for solution alignment and proposal development. Drive revenue growth and achieve assigned sales targets. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings. Prepare periodic MIS reports and sales forecasts.Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Defense Studies or related field. 5–10 years of experience in business development, preferably in defense, aerospace, or training systems. Strong understanding of procurement processes in defense/government sectors. Experience in handling tenders and large-value projects. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel extensively across India.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of military training systems / shooting ranges / simulation technologies.
